18 Summers
18 Summers
"75% of the time you spend with your kids in your lifetime will be spent by the time they are 12."
Are you being intentional, planning quality time with them?
Are you leading them to Jesus, practicing your faith with them?
Are you surrounding your kids with Godly trusted mentors from outside of your family circle?
Are you putting them around God's presence and his people at church consistently?
Raising children can be overwhelming, and it can feel like it's never-ending. What begins as diapers and bottles quickly turns into driving and choosing a career. Many times we don't realize that our time is limited, it's only 18 Summers. Parents can be overwhelmed from balancing work and parenting. Churches many times struggle to provide the care and attention in it's ministries that children need. The truth is that we have 18 summers to influence the next generation. We must recognize parents as the primary disciplers of their children and the church must do what it can to partner with parents in this mission. On Sunday, we will minister on the subject of 18 Summers.
Some of the topics will include, Giving our full attention, Planning and praying for the long haul, Refusing to let failure paralyze us, Choosing to slow down, prioritizing quality time together. ParkHillsAssembly.com
