The next is right now
Our church has a strong history of ministry and growth, but over the last three years we have experienced unprecedented progress. During that time, we have more than doubled our leadership and serve team, allowing us to better care for and personally minister to the people who call our church home. That growth is also creating new opportunities—and new challenges. Our current location is becoming full. From our kids' facilities and small-group rooms to our parking, it is becoming increasingly clear that we need more space to continue reaching and serving people well.
We know that God's plan is to use us to plant another place of worship in our region. We believe God has been preparing our church for that next step, and we are beginning to move from vision toward action. Our immediate next step will be offering two Sunday services, creating more room for people to connect. We desire to reach the unreached, develop people, and send them out to do what God has called them to do. Our vision has never been about numbers, programs, or simply getting bigger. It is about people being transformed. We are not hoping for growth, God has shown us and spoken to our church to prepare for growth.
It's not a matter of if.. it's just a matter of when and where.

Katie Boyer
Womens Ministry
Our Women’s Ministry exists to nurture faith, fellowship, and spiritual growth by honoring the traditions that strengthen our community. Through cherished practices such as retreats, regional outings, and small groups, we create spaces where women can deepen their relationship with God, build meaningful connections with one another, and be encouraged to live out their calling in everyday life. Rooted in Scripture and guided by love, we seek to inspire women of all generations to walk together in faith, service, and unity. You can find our events on the calendar. If you would like to talk to the women's ministry leader please text 3143756341.

Men's Ministry
Monthly Events
Normal men's ministry tends to get everyone in a room for bible study but at our church the men attend a weekly small group and study the bible already. This means our men's ministry can be geared differently, in an effort to provide some out of the church opportunities that allow us to connect. Throughout the year, we set up opportunities like fishing, bowling, gun range, fish fries and more. We also have conferences, retreats, and getaway trips where we can experience God together.

Where we come from

Our History
Our church is made up of many people, various families who served the lord faithfully. With each generation building on what the previous generation built.
In 1961 C.R Hampton moved to Flat River to pastor the Assembly of God church. Pastor Hampton and his family lived about a mile from the school on Field Street in the parsonage next to the Assembly of God church. The church averaged about 200 people on Sundays.
A typical Sunday service began at 9:00 a.m. with a prelude or opening by one of the Deacons. The head Deacon for the day would stand up and welcome people to the service and pray, and then Sunday School. Next came the song service, which was led by the choir director and music leader Sister Naomi Boyer. After three or four hymns, the offering would be taken and then the preaching. The church hosted revivals once a year and occasionally helped a tent revival service where they set up on the edge of town.
The Hampton family moved to Lebanon, Missouri in 1966. C.R Hampton's son Ron would later write a book about his dad's ministry and life. You can view that here.
The church would then be moved to its new location at 1104 N St. Joe Drive in Park Hills. Since being on St. Joe Drive, the church has seen a lot of ups and downs. In 2007 the church was merged with Doe Run First Assembly and Pastor Mark Moss began to lead the newly reorganized church. Pastor Moss with years of experience, began to lead the church through renovation and a spiritual rebuild. His work would set the foundation for the success that the church has seen in the past 3 years.
